I wanted to send a thanks to Doug. My daughter, Victoria, just showed her steer in her first fair of her second year in 4-H. The time Doug spent with the members in Cowichan in June enabled her to do all of her own clipping in preparation, unsupervised, for the fair. Best tail she's done yet thanks to the tips and knowledge acquired that weekend with Doug and the Cowichan 4-H Beef Club!

We all loved the demonstration, parents included. I did have some parents who were kind of leery about this and they loved it as well. We had our grooming day(s) the following weekend and noticed that all of the members were using a lot of the tying techniques and most of the clipping techniques.
